School Meals

We are proud to work with Chartwells Schools for your children’s school dinners. Chartwells believe that the key to fuelling young minds comes from understanding both what they need and what they enjoy, which is why they develop nutritious and delicious food that pupils love, whilst helping to ensure a healthy body and mind.

Their passionate culinary experts work closely with us to ensure every child receives healthy food, perfectly suited to meet their needs and dietary requirements.

Chartwells’s Food Super Heroes make food education fun, whatever the age, and their tasty theme days encourage children to make the most of their school meal.

To find out more about Chartwells, visit their website or contact the school catering team.

If your child has a food allergy or intolerance and you would like to discuss this, please the Chartwells medical diet nutrition team directly via this email address.

(Email address is chartwells.medicaldiets@compass-group.co.uk.)

Universal Free Lunch

Children from Year R to Year 2 all receive a free school lunch. Having a school lunch helps children gain good eating habits and over time they are able to try a selection of different foods.  Children cannot bring a packed lunch in until Year 3. All allergies can be catered for.

Nursery

All children who access 30 hours and stay for lunch must have a school dinner. School dinners in Nursery must be paid for.

Packed Lunches

Only children from Year 3 onwards can have a packed lunch.

If your child is moving from a school lunch to packed lunch in Year 3 please let us know.
